Guide Picks - Top German Grammar Books
A good grammar book (or two) can be a big help for any language-learner, from beginner to advanced. But not all German grammar books are created equal. Here are some of the best.
1) German in 10 Minutes a Day
Book 1 Part of the 10 Minutes a Day series, this illustrated book by Kristine K. Kershul includes vocabulary labels to use at home. A very good practical, basic text for beginners or those who want to review their German. Paperback.
   
2) 750 German Verbs and Their Uses
Book 2 A practical guide to conjugating and using German verbs in context - with their respective prepositions. Along with common verbs, the text also covers more unusual expressions. Many examples show how each verb is used in various tenses, and there is also good coverage of reflexive verbs. Paperback.
