WAP is a wireless phone Web service popular in Germany, Europe and over 100 countries around the world. It allows the display of WAP-formatted Web pages on a GSM wireless phone, the type used in most of Europe.

A Web page (eine Webseite) is one page on a Web site (eine Website) with many pages. Many German-speakers misuse the term Webseite for Web site.
Wi-Fi s WLAN (pron. VAY-LAHN) - Wireless LAN (local area network)
Note: In the U.S. and many other countries, "Wi-Fi" is used as a synonym for WLAN, although technically the term is a registered trademark related to the WECA (Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance) organization that developed the Wi-Fi standard and the Wi-Fi logo.
